Description:

When i was 17 i was playing DEK HOCKEY goalie for the Wynnewood Whalers in a 21& over A league.Are rink was in Tinicum PA.We were a good team.I also played for the Glenolden Griffins a freshman team 20& under.We won the championship every season.We played in alot of tournaments at Niagara Falls.Canada,Centerreach LongIsland.NY,Millerplace LongIsland.NY,Sinking Springs.PA.We won that tournament and i was MVP.Every year we went to Nationals in Leominster.MA.In 1985 we came close at Nationals we lost in a shootout 1-0 in the semifinals to a team from RhodeIsland that went on to win it all.In 1986 the rink moved to Aston PA then i played for the Broomall Bombers in A league and the Blazers in the B league.We won the Fall and Winter leagues every season.In 1989 alot of my friends retired from both teams so i went on to play for the Sabres in A & B leagues.We also won the Fall and Winter leagues every season.I also played Softball for 7 different teams every year.In 1991 we won the State Championship for Daves Tavern in Ridley Park PA and i had the Game Winning Hit.I played ThirdBase.On July 26,1993 me and some friends went to a local swim club after hours.I dove in and hit my head at the bottom of the pool.Then i became Quadrapalegic i am in a wheelchair now and live in a nursinghome it is very nice here there are alot of young people here.So Sports is a big part of my life now.I am very lucky to have such Good Friends they take me out all the time.My dad was born in Montreal that is why i like the Canadiens as my SECOND team of COURSE!! I BLEED BLACK AND ORANGE!!!!!!
