Honestly, did anyone else thing that that game was GREAT?! i mean, yeah, there were the boring parts but when the Devils scored with like .5 seconds to go, i was on my feet, lol. I'm kinda new to this site so idk what i'm doing really but i think its right??

new feature to me this forum talk... doesn't always seem to be available or there's still glitches being worked out
I thought the game was hard fought on both sides .. The Flyers seemed to really take it to the Devils in the third and of course relaxed at the end instead of playing a full 60mins like the Devils were even though they were down by two .. something they really need to work on if they plan on making a deep run There was some damn good saves on both ends by both goalies .. I bet Marty wasn't too happy about some of the defensive breakdowns .. Just thinking about the dmen that are coming back and Elias hitting his stride is going to make the Devils that much scarier to play .. glad I don't chew my finger nails, cause I don't think I'd have any left after last night's game |

i know the game would have had me chewin lol. marty is never satisfied. i love him like he's a great goalie but idk. i just hope he gets his shut outs to make a new record cause even though he cheated on his wife with her sister he's PLAYIN like a champ! lol
last night our offense needed to try harder. i noticed the flyer's goalie makin some great saves though. Devils needed to work on their power play, which was HORRIBLE last night. but props to our penalty killing, which seemed to go along well. |

Marty will get his shutouts ... he's been the best goalie since well before Roy retired eh ... Flyers are ranked first on the PowerPlay and 7th on the Penalty Kill
So yeah, the Devils did a really good job keeping the Flyers from scoring on that, well besides the first period goal . I don't know what to make of Marty's behavior off the ice since I don't know for sure that actually took place... we all make mistakes I suppose, even if that was a terrible thing to do to his wife .. it's hard to believe since his wife was so beautiful ugh schit happens eh? |

he better. the game was on verses last night and only one guy thought that he would. that pssed me off lol.
yeah it was but whatever, all that matters is that he keeps the fackin pucks OUT of the damn goal crease! |

I see, this almost like live chat except you have to wait for the whole page to reload .. nice feature eh .. no wonder the rest of this site is slow .. they use all their energies on this portion of it .. like I said, these are all new features to me ... quick reply is going to be pretty handy in the future!!

the comment by Laviolette about him slowing down was somewhat interesting .. There are sooo many players that are playing beyond their "Hockey" Prime that I could easily see Marty playing beyond 40 since he absolutely DEMANDS as many games as the coach will allow

That's a long time to wait for a good defenseman... wonder if Lou will decide to bring up young talent even if they're not ready or go to the FA or Trade market for some help .. slim pickins unless the Devils are will to shell out some big bucks.... I just hope they can't persuade Scott Niedermayer away from Anaheim ugh ... that would be a nightmare for every team in the Atlantic Division let alone the EC
