A sports addict and a Sharks and a Sabres fan. I’m a fairly new convert to the joys of hockey fandom and loving every minute of it! Also a big fan of football (Vikings & 49ers), baseball (Cubbies) & NASCAR (Jeff Burton).

Buffalo Sabres (Let’s Go Buffalo!). Also like the Ducks and Red Wings. Vikings, 49ers and Cubbies (‘cause I like to suffer).

Nabokov, Thornton, Cheechoo, Hasek, Datsyuk, Drury, Miller (Sabs), Pronger, Giguere, JR, Setoguchi, Grier, Luongo, Ovechkin (wow). Others: Ryno, Tarkenton, Andre Dawson, Steve Young, Jeff Burton, Sweetness (the all time greatest).
Music:
Rock, oldies, CCR & Clapton, etc. Also love the Blues and Stevie Ray. The Boss, Joe Satriani, Peter Gabriel, Green Day . . .oh, lots and lots.
Books:
Denis Lehane & Caleb Carr, Laurie King, Bill Bryson. I love Bryson and recommend him to anyone who likes to laugh. Also, the Gun Seller by Hugh Laurie (yup, that Hugh Laurie). It’s hysterical.
Movies:
Indies and anything with excellent acting. Eddie Izzard, one of the funniest men alive.
Other interests:
Acting. Also Tai Chi & Qui Gong. Reading and silversmithing.

Eh, what are ya gonna do...
I’m the type of person that likes to root for the underdog, and, also isn’t that crazy bout the Wings or Pens. I’m a true hockey fan and of course I would watch the Finals, but, my preferences lie with other teams. If the Pens did make it, and they won, at least it would be cool for The Kid to have his first Cup, and it would be good for the city of Pittsburgh. Have a great weekend!

for the blog comment. Something tells me Bettman and the league offices are smiling at a possible/likely Wings-Pens final (no, I won’t imply conspiracy, I’ll leave that to certain Flyers fans). Just that the ratings will likely be much higher than the last three years in the States here. Not that I’d notice….I watched all of the last three Cup Finals. Just too bad it’s not Leafs-Sharks, eh?
