Thanks a lot for answering my question. It’s good to hear that McCollum is doing well. I really appreciate the info you’re sending back to us.

Just wanted to stop by &....
...give a little thanks for all the work you have done with the Connect’s free agency draft group. Your insights are always valued.
And I also liked what you wrote about Mark Eaton, & the Eat N’ Park reference. My wife is from the Pittsburgh area (& unfortunately a Pens fan) so that’s a place we always have to stop by when we’re visiting her family.
I would like the Pens to acquire Richard Park, then convert him to a defenseman….and yes, then pair him with Mark Eaton, of course. Sorry, very bad I know.
Thanks again, always appreciate the effort.

Hello Shawn!
Good day. As a hockey fan, I have enjoyed the pleasure of watching all the colors from all the cities as the players wear them proudly, while they hit each other and score like champions. But I came across something that has blown my mind, and I can’t help but to ask myself why I, or ANYONE for that matter, has not paid attention to this before! I came across the website www.legendsfootprints.com, and was introduced to the most incredible ideas for hockey uniforms that I have EVER seen…ANYWHERE!!! I looked at them once, and thought that, if anything, here is the perfect look for the NHL!!! My question to you is: Why have you not seen these yet, and why are they not being worn by the players? These jerseys could completely reshape the league in the image that the FANS would want, and I can see WAVES of people lining up to buy them! Please tell me why these have not been sought after!!!!

Hi Shawn
I have already left this comment on Rich Libero’s profile page. I just wanted to make sure YOU got to see it as well. That was a great piece on the WINGS history and the interview with Aaron Downey – “Red Wings relish club’s history”. I am sorry to inform both of you that some of the facts or fact checking you or your staff have overlooked: “Detroit plays in the second-oldest building in the League”. Joe Louis Arena opened in 1979; only Mellon Arena, home to the Pittsburgh Penguins – Detroit’s opponent in the 2008 Stanley Cup Final – is older among the 30 buildings on the NHL circuit”. This is TOTALLY INCORRECT. The Nassau Coliseum arena was officially opened and dedicated on May 29, 1972 making it the second oldest barn in the 30 count. November 8, 1971 – The National Hockey League awarded a franchise to Long Island, with the team (ISLANDERS) that began play in the 1972-73 season at the Nassau Coliseum. I pretty surprized you guy’s missed this one. You guy’s are the Pro’s – you need to really be a little more dilligent sometimes. The NY Islanders new home is still just a pipe dream at this stage so that could not have figured into your article. Thanks for reading my comment if you do!Best,MILLS
