I am a big hockey fan in SoCal. I have been watching the Kings since I was a wee lad, long before The Great One was traded from Edmonton to LA. My favorite hockey moment was when the Kings beat Toronto in the Campbell Conference Finals.

I’m a San Diego native, so obviously the Padres and Chargers are at the top of my list. Why the Kings? Because they were the first NHL team I got to watch on TV all the time. With Marcel Dionne and Rogie Vachon, who wouldn’t? Also, after spending some time in St. Pete, FL, I became a fan of the Lightning. Thank God for the Centre Ice package! I do miss my San Diego Gulls, though…
Favorite Players:
I could think of a ton of them, but I like the kid in LA, Anze Kopitar. El Sid in PIT is going to be a great one. I am also a huge fan of Vinnie LeCavalier in TB.

Tough start
It’s been a little tough watching the Kings get off to this start. Things will improve, though, because I beleive this team can challenge for a playoff spot this year.
