Just stoppin' by to say hi....
...& I hope you’re having a great summer!
I stumbled upon this…....I hope it’s FALSE!!!
CALGARY HERALD: Bruce Dowbiggin reports that while Vancouver and Montreal are the favorites in the bidding for Mats Sundin that another team could jump into the sweepstakes, suggesting the Philadelphia Flyers, despite being over the salary cap, they might move Jeff Carter to make room for Sundin. Dowbiggin also suggests that once Sundin makes his decision it could force the teams that lost out on landing him to consider other options, with Vancouver possibly pursuing Michael Nylander or Antoine Vermette while Montreal will also do the same.

UGH
So I’m still down about the way the season ended and I’m sure that you are too. But I am looking forward to the Finals…of course, not as much as if our team was there, but it should be a good series.
OK, so let’s see…we have the entry draft coming up in about a month and training camp starts in oh, about 4 months or so. I’m already having Flyer withdrawal!
But you gotta love the way this team turned things around so quickly, eh?!

YES Wendalina!!!
YES!!!
Now there is one….they NEED that intensity and desperation in their game EVERY shift, EVERY game from here on out. I don’t know why it took until the fourth game for Stevens to shuffle the lines around, but it seemed to be a HUGE difference as the offense came back to life after the pitiful showing in game 3.
I read in the Daily News that Timonen is hinting that he might be in the lineup Sunday, depending on how his skating and being taken off the blood thinners go, and the swelling around Coburn’s eye may be down enough that he will be in, also. Can you say NICE TIMING as to the extra day off between games 4 & 5?!

Game 4 Thursday
OK, so tonight is game 4 of the Flyers-Pens series…hopefully the Flyers watched the Stars-Red Wings game last night and learn how a team with it’s back against the wall plays! Total desperation, leave it ALL on the ice, and the rest will take care of itself. One shift, one game at a time!
The miracle starts tonight! LET’S GO FLYERS!!!

.
thank u 4 ur ever so kind words it was/is most greatly appreciated … THANK U !!! sigh though it still hurts like crazy i guess it’s time 2 move on . that being said here’s who i’m rooting 4 now .
WEST
i really really really strongly dislike both teams 4 obvious reasons but i guess i’ll go with the wings .
it’s the lesser of 2 evils plus i like that old guy chelios and ex-shark stuart . go wings … sorry dallas !
EAST
i would like 2 root 4 the flyers but i hold a “HUGE” grudge towards bobby clarke . WHY ??? i’m a lindros fan nuff said … sorry philly ! that leaves me with the pens who i don’t like or dislike 1 way or the other . so i guess i’m rooting 4 the pens 2 win it all although if gagne returns i’m gonna go with my boy and the flyers .
in the end i just hope 4 some amazing hockey and not 2 many bleep calls . good luck 2 ur team

Thanks for the add! And no question...
...losing Timonen is devastating. The headline of the Inquirer this morning said it best: “Major Weapon Down”.
Well, what’s a little more adversity? We’ll see who it is now that will step up and fill some HUGE shoes (or in this case, skates)
My bet is Braydon Coburn.
LET’S GO FLYERS!!! LET’S GO FLYERS!!!
