Weekend of 11/09-11/11

On the weekend of November 9-11, 2007, I traveled down to Studio City, CA, for the PBA West Region’s Ebonite Open. Let’s not talk about the bowling because I did terribly! I will be back on the regional tour bowling in February. For now, I can just focus on working and school (I’m in grad school).
Anyway, on the Friday night of the tournament, which is the practice day, I realized that my beloved San Jose Sharks were going to play at the Pond in the 714. I made the drive down to meet up with my buddy Jeff, who’s a die-hard Ducks fan, to check out the game.
In the end, the Sharks didn’t win, but came home with a point and I was sure to be gracious about my team’s loss. I, however, had a great time and it helped me relax a little about being nervous about my bowling tournament.
