Wow.

What an amazing season of hockey.
From unbelievable goals, to outstanding saves.
Remarkable passes, to unforgetable hits.
So many breath-taking moments throughout the season.
You really can’t put it all into words.

I don’t have much to say at this point, I don’t really do the whole blog thing, not my specialty.
But I just wanted to say, I am so proud of the Pittsburgh Penguins, for what they have accomplished this season.

We have all witnessed a young, inexperienced team grow before our eyes.
They have overcome adversity time and time again.
We have seen so many individuals emerge into their own.
And also seen them come together into a team, a real team.

The 08 playoffs showed everyone just who they are and what they can be.

Huge loss tonight against the Detroit Red Wings, but after all that, a huge gain as well.
There is so much these guys can learn from this experience, to make them that much more better next season.
Everyone had them out and gone, but that just proves how this team works. It’s not over, until it’s over.

Sadly, this may have been the last game these guys take the ice together, as a team. Due to the salary cap.
Who knows what the future holds for this team, but I’m almost sure the Stanley Cup is just waiting to be hoisted by the Penguins.

Congrats to Detroit and here’s one last .. GO Pens. Until next season ..
