so the habs traded their first round draft pick at 25th overall i am happy and not happy about this the habs were eyeing one hometown quebecer which would be nicholas deschamps i wouldve loved to see deschamps in a habs jersey but at the same time im glad tanguay is finally a hab after all those rumors. i hope hes prepared for the montreal media. thats one of the reasons why he didnt really want to leave calgary to come here in the first place. i can see him being a good fit here in montreal with the bleu blanc et rouge i am surprised that deschamps was not chosen in the first round he was ranked 25 by tsn and could be nhl ready within 2 years

Moving on
I always liked Alex, and I missed Tanguay this year in Colorado….with all the injuries in Denver this past year (incl. the guy he was traded for, J. Leopold), they could’ve used his scoring tocuh.
