Description:
I’ve been a die hard hockey fan all of my life. Never really had a favorite team until 1995 when I started to idolize Stevie Y. I’ve been wearing the red ever since. Before that, I’d just root for whoever the crowd around me was rooting for, because I just loved the game and nothing was more fun than celebrating with a group of people. My father is a die hard Bruins fan. I used to root for them until I was about 6 years old. Thats when I just started just watching the game for the hockey itself. Of course, over time there had to be some team that grew on me, and it all started late in 1995. I believe it was December of that year, when the Red Wings gave the Habs a shalacking of a lifetime, 11-1. I’ve never seen anything like it. And on top of tat, it was freakin Patrick Roy who they were peppering. My love for the Wings started that night, and it has continued to get stronger every year.
Favorite NHL Team:
Detroit Red Wings
Favorite Sports/Teams:
Red Wings, Washington Capitals, Grand Rapids Griffins, Boston Bruins (LUCIC!!!), Chicago Blackhawks (Say what?!)
Favorite Players:
Stevie Y is #1 of all time in my books. Then there is Gordie Howe, and Gordie Howe’s elbow. Dan Cleary (pride of Newfoundland!!) is my favorite that is still playing. I have newfie blood in my veins, and he makes all of us very proud! My other favs are Henrik Zetterberg, Pavel Datsyuk, Chris Osgood (OZZIE! OZZIE! OZZIE!!), Alexander Ovechkin, Kyle Turris, Henrik Lundqvist, and Jonathan Toews, and MILLAN LUCIC!!!!!!. I expect Stamkos to make a very good impression on me very quickly as well. He was a very fun kid to watch in the World Juniors.
Music:
I love almost any kind of music out there, except stuff like rap and emo music. Loves the oldies!!
Books:
No answer
Movies:
Red Wings DVD set!!!
Other interests:
Besides hockey, I follow Baseball in the summer. It holds me over through the boring months of the year haha. I really enjoy class. I’m a current computer engineering student at Memorial University in St. Johns, Newfoundland. I like to draw, although I haven’t done uch in a while. I actually drew a picture of Dominik Hasek a while back. I should post that in my snapshots. But yeah, I really like to keep busy. Summer is kind of laid back, but I am working and saving up money to fly to Detroit next April to see the Wings opening 2 games in round one of the playoffs. It will be my first live Wings games EVER. Can’t wait!!

im also an artist too
http://www.geocities.com/nhlhockeyfan/drawings.html
the site is stinky sometimes because it would restrict the amount of viewers and so sometimes it would turn off.
but there are lots of portraits of hockey players. lots of these are old pics that i did in highschool.
recently got my B of A in animation and illustration and want to continue with art. but in the mean time for fun i go off to that ice rink or the streets to practice hockey. i stink but meh. i love the game
