Hi, I’m Lauren. My story isn’t like most hockey fans you know. I’m not Canadian. I’m not even from a hockey state. I don’t come from a hockey family, and I’m pretty sure no one in my immediate family could tell you what color the blue line is. I didn’t grow up with the game. You should see me on skates… like a cat in a bathtub. I don’t have any cute tales of my dad shooting pucks at me in our basement, or playing some shinny with the neighbors on the backyard pond. In fact, where I’m from the temperature drops below freezing probably twice a year. I live in a city that is crazy about its football and baseball. Somehow despite all this, I evolved into a fanatic who would sleep through winter if it weren’t for hockey season, and who requests Saturdays off work just to watch Hockey Night in Canada. I am a hockey fan. “How?” everyone asks me. Well let’s just call it love at first puck-drop. Passion over function. Who says true love doesn’t exist?

know this is a bit late:
Hot Hockey Player Number 4 is actually Sheldon Souray, who I agree, I think is above-average pretty for a hockey player (And I’m used to seeing some good looking hockey players in Nashville. I think we lucked out with a pretty good-looking team..).
You know who else I think is too pretty to be a hockey player? Scottie Upshall.
Honestly, when hockey players are THAT pretty, I just wonder if they’re doing their jobs…
