Smart-mouthed, sarcastic, mostly perky, annoyingly optimistic, player-loving, critic-disliking, weird,fighter and hardcore Canadian hockey chick. The Vancouver Canucks are my team. My passion for hockey is what’s lead me to find …me. I put the Canucks first, but I respect most teams and will watch most of the Western teams I get to see. The name ‘Jenny Canuck’ comes from the comic book war hero Johnny Canuck, for whom the team is named – but Jenny (well Jennifer) is my real name. One of the dreams, goals, visions I have is to see my beloved Canucks win the Shiny Trophy.

Hockey; Manitoba Moose, Kootenay Ice. Other NHL teams I follow…closely: Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadians. I don’t really have a choice about the Maple Leafs – all of Canada hears about them. Football; BC Lions.

Favorite Players:

The entire 1993/94 Vancouver Canuck roster. That includes; Trevor Linden (favorite all-time player),Gregg Adams (my hometown guy), Kirk McLean, Gino Odjick and Cliff Ronning./// Markus Naslund, Todd Bertuzzi, Joe Sakic, Taylor Pyatt, Roberto Luongo, Brendon Morrison, Mattias Ohlund, Willie Mitchell and Chuck Kobasew.

Music:

Shania Twain (favorite), Mariah Carey, Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman. Movie Score soundtracks, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Kelly Clarkson, LeAnn Rimes and The Corrs, Sara Evans…..lots more.

Books:

Not too picky about books, I just like reading. I like Anne Rice sometimes, a few Stephen King, and Iris Johanson. Edger Allan Poe too.

Movies:

All the Die Hards – action in general – Cliffhanger, etc. horror movies; Texas Chainsaw Mas., Wrong Turn, Silther..etc.. Robin Hood;Prince of Thieves, The Princess Bride, Serenity and The X-Men trilogy. Lord Of The Rings. Animal-based movies (Flicka, Hidalgo, Eight Below – yes, I am sappy about animals). // As far as T.V; Supernatural, Friday Night Lights. Then old time standards; The X-Files, JAG, Buffy/Angel and Veronica Mars.

Other interests:

Hardcore running, long walks and tennis. Camping. Bending myself into weird positions for the purpose of spiritual enlightenment. Writing,drawing,photography and singing (some have said that I am good). Love philosophy and how the mind works. I love outdoor activities like hiking and just being outside in general. Also reading a lot. Sort of introverted. Most of the time.
