The greatest game ever!!

First of all I would like to tell you how I became a Habs fan.My grandmother died when I was about 1 year old,so my grandfather moved in with my parents and I.Hockey night in canada on CBC became an immediate family social event for us.I obviously didn’t watch the game for a few more years until I was about 5 years old.My grandfather was a die hard leafs fan and my dad was a bruins fan,but together they both cheered for who ever was playing against the canadians.My mom on thr other hand was a canadians fan,so as soon as i was old enough she did everything in her power to make me a habs fan and even up the odds on saturday night and she was successful! My grandfather was a very religious man but that all went out the window when the montreal canadians were playing,he’d curse on the referees every time montreal got a power play.Hockey night in canada was an all out fight in my house growing up and looking back at it now makes me realize that I had no choice but to be a habs fan!

I guess I was lucky...
My dad and brother both like the Habs so no big rivalries in my household growing up. Thankfully!! My boyfriend is a Habs fan as well….hmmmm I’m starting to note a pattern here. lol

Sounds like my house too, except no grandfather. Dad=Leafs / Brother=Canadiens / Me=Bruins. Some pretty good yelling matches on Saturday night!!
