Ottawa got swept. That’s right, Swiffer Wet Jetted in 4 games. And while I do have some sympathy towards the Ottawa faithful (my girlfriend being one of them) I can’t but relish the fact that the Senators have proved themselves to be…well…chokers.
You see, the Battle of Ontario rages on even though my hometown bums are hitting the links. In spite of all of MLSE’s shortcomings and the mediocre-at-best team the Leafs were this season, every Torontonian has a bit of schadenfreude when it comes to the Senator’s demise. For that, I say “Ottawa, you better find something else than golf because the links in The Nations Capital are terrible.”
