Canucks' prospects grab spotlight
Two of Vancouver's top prospects, goaltender Cory Schneider and center Pat White, are making strides toward what they and the Canucks hope will be successful NHL careers.
Sabres hope Adam a clone of Clowe
To understand what the Buffalo Sabres saw in forward Luke Adam, it helps to first take a history lesson on St. John's, Newfoundland, the oldest city in North America, from which the prospect hails. Cleary brings Stanley Cup to Newfoundland
Jagr enjoyed an amazing run
Jaromir Jagr helped revolutionize the right wing position during a 17-year NHL career that saw him score 646 goals, nearly 1,600 points and win a pair of Stanley Cups as a member of the Penguins. Gallery: Jaromir Jagr career retrospective

Soccer superstar Thierry Henry has won a few important championships in his career, so it was interesting to catch up with him recently and get his take on the Detroit Red Wings. Championship issue of Impact!

Am I the only Flyer fan...
...getting a little worried that Carter’s supposed 5 year $15 million deal hasn’t been announced yet, or that Jones & Eminger haven’t been signed yet either?
It’s less than 1 week until those guys become RFAs & any team could make some crazy offer that we won’t be able to match.
So far we’ve subtracted RJ (UGH), Sami, probably Dowd, probably Hatcher, Smith & Modry from the D, & added (probably) Giroux up front, & Parent will be a permanent fixture & Eminger on D.
Hopefully the talk of Gagne doing full workouts with no recurring concussion symptoms will ring true come training camp. Full contact will be more of a telling tale, I believe.
Hold onto your hats Flyer fans…....it could be a bumpy ride!

Saw you at The Joe last night!
Hey David, I saw you last night at The Joe! My husband and I passed by you in the (crammed) corridor. You were with your son, and were wearing an Army-green colored type shirt! You were holding onto your son as you moved rather quickly through the crowd, and I recognized you immediately when seeing you (from Bones and Angel) but couldn’t remember your name. I did say “Bones” though to my husband and saw you peek out of the corner of your eye in my direction when you heard me say that, but of course you kept moving swiftly. My husband didn’t believe it was you, and thought it was just some guy that LOOKED LIKE you. Sheesh – men! Anyway, hope you enjoyed the game. (Because I was so convinced that it actually WAS you, I Googled you online today and sure enough, you’re a big hockey fan! Awesome!) We did enjoy the game immensely, but were extremely disappointed at 34 seconds left on the clock in Period 3 when the puck went in the goal – UGH! Such heartbreak! Take care, and hope to see you again some time.

What a Game!
OK, during that game, I was hanging off the ledge you were on in the Montreal series. That was exciting and terrifying all at the same time. Now, we’re heading back to Pittsburgh which may not mean anything as the Redwings already beat us there. Still, home ice advantage can’t hurt. Phenomenal game you and your son got to see. Pittsburgh would certainly welcome you if you wanted to come to game 6.
