hmmm
the refs kinda helped the habs back in that game. I understand that the hit may have been a 5 min major… but when the dude gets right back up and then cross checks the dude who hit after the whistle… well then it would only be 2 or the refs usually call the retaliation call. Plus early in the game the refs game the habs a full 2 min 5 on 3… Downie did slash the dude, but the hook was very very dull. Then
downie got the tripping call and got an extra 2 for roughing… when did steve manage to do this??? when he got jumped and punched in the face by 2 habs at the same time??? I think not
