After last nights game… Ive been pretty down… but I still love the Dallas Stars! They put up one hell of a fight and I saw fear in the eyes of plenty Wings Fans…
I applaud our captin Brenden Morrow. With injuries not just on the shoulder but basically everywhere he still gave it his all. We did not roll over like some other NHL teams… we fought to the very end!
Robidas… Robidas… Robidas… the unsung hero of the Stars. He puts a fight every game… he gets the hits and he is always there to stick up for his team.. which is unusual considering he is a lightweight. The dedication and passion this guy has can be seen in every game. Plus… you have to applaud a guy that still gets out there and kicks ass.. even without a nose!
Steve Ott, not getting as much attention in past years, he really stepped up his game. Im sure we will be seeing more of him too.
There isnt one guy on the team that I dislike. They are all pretty amazing.
I give the RedWings the credit of being a good team. They played an awesome game. Everyone has their opinion and I’ll leave my personal opinion on some key players at the door.. They did great and both teams(pens and wings) deserve to be at the Stanley Cup Playoffs
The scene as that buzzer blew was heartwarming… while the tears streaked my face. Not one fan was sitting.. not one fan was booing.. and every white towel that the arena offered was up in the air. As the stars waved to their fans it gave me something to truly BELIEVE.
October!! I’ll see you there!
Tiffany

Your blog reminds me of a song. Do you happen to be a fan of The Bravery? The song “Believe” fits quite well

well said
I agree with you, they played a great series. I also agree that Dallas fans are true fans. They cheered their team to the last second and that is great to see. I hate when some teams fans boo their team off the ice after a loss (and they call themselves true fans). I was very impressed with that and with most of the blogs I am reading. No excuses (like the flyers fans). Its just true dallas fans being mature and thanking their team for a great season and great series… I was nervous and I said this when we won game 3…. Dallas can still come back, all they have to do is win game 4 to get them going, take that fire back with them to the Joe to win there, and then be one game away from tieing the series which can be done in Dallas…. and that almost happened…. Great Job Dallas….. Go Wings

Shining Stars
The Stars played with fire and pride for the whole series. They are going to be a dominant team for a long time to come and their future looks brilliantly bright. We Wings fans know what it’s like to lose in the finals after giving it your all. With all the top line injured one way or another Morrow, Modano, Robidas, Richards, everybody still fought to the end. I also have the greatest admiration for the Stars fans. They never stopped cheering their team or believing in them. A very classy group, team and fans.
