Description:
Spent my early years in New York where my Dad was a big Islanders fan. Moved to Phoenix when I was still a kid; not a lot of hockey to be played here. Played some field and floor hockey though, which was fun. Grew up to be a Phoenix Roadrunners (IHL) fan (only hockey in town). Became an Avalanche fan in ‘95 when they moved to Denver and we started getting some NHL on tv. Coyotes arrived in ‘96, been a huge fan ever since. The Coyotes are my favorite team, but I really just love NHL hockey. I can watch any team play and enjoy it. It blows all the other sports away. Nothing beats the Cup playoffs, except maybe Olympic hockey.

Phoenix Coyotes

The Ducks are still Mighty
Congrats to the Ducks for getting their first Stanley Cup! Great to see Selanne finally win one. He’s been a great player and stand up guy for the 15 years he’s been in the NHL. Almost the same for Pronger, flying elbows notwithstanding. Congtaulations also must go to the Senators for having a great post-season, they just came up a little short in the last few games. Ray Emery just got a real taste of the playoffs and he’ll be hungry next year. He’s emerging as an upcoming superstar for sure. Senators should keep their group together and I’m sure they’ll be tough again next year. Now comes the long empty summer with no hockey. Until next Fall then, or at least the draft later this month. And NHL, please end your deal with Versus and put the games back on a station people get!!!
