while watching last nights spectacular game! That was a thing of beauty! I can’t believe Sykora called his goal. This is the momentum change the Penguins need to fly them into the cup. I love that NBC is showing the games!
I saw many things that I liked from the young lad’s. The forechecked harder, chipped and poked at the puck more. And WOW, Fluery was amazing!
A few things they need to expand on, which I know they can do. Keep the puck in the zone longer, throw more at the net, stay out of the pbox, adapt to detroits line changes quicker, and make their power plays count!
Detroit are experts at puckcarrying into the zone. I like how the Pens keep them squeezed into the boards. The Pen’s have the young legs to dump and chase to the extreme and obviously play into triple overtime. That is where their youngness works for them.
The team elevated itself to another level of play. Capitalize on opportunities. Don’t get frustrated, play at a calm pace. This team can do it!
Okay, now I would like to talk to the brilliant people of Pittsburgh. Did you hear how loud those fans were last night??? Are you gonna let them out cheer you? I want to hear the rumble all the way down river in Cincinnati.
and speaking of Cincinnati, the Cyclones won last night. Series is now 3-2, clones. They can win the cup in front of home crowd on thursday.
