After watching the Red Wings and Avalanche game it confirms once again that the NHL should be the elite league in professional sports. You can still see the hatred both the teams have for each other. In baseball it’s mainly the Yankees/Red Sox rivalry. Basketball there really is no rivalry. Football you have a few teams who have rivalries but they never have the grit or tenacity against each other. But none compaire to the rivalries and competitiveness of the NHL. Every team has a foe who they loathe. Just some thoughts I felt like sharing.

yep thats all i got to say is yep your right. never see as much bloodshed in a rivalery in any other sport do ya…... nope

slightly narrow minded
hockey fans are a breed of their own, we choose to see and yet look aother ways because this is after all “the hardest Trophy in sports to win”. But theres alot of rivalries that excite us in every sport. Great to see detroit and Colorado at it again tho! Would love to see a little more pasion, but that will come, its only game 1.
