Description:

I am 20 years old, and a HUGE Red Wings fan. When I was younger I used to always follow my older brothers choices for favourite hockey teams, but by the time I was 6 I think I had already been a fan of LA, TOR, NJ, and PHI. Well, I became a Wings fan when we used to play one of the hockey games for an old gaming system. I used to love using Steve Yzerman. And the Wings slowly grew on me. Anyways, I was diagnosed with Cancer (AML) at age 14, spent many sleepless night in hospital. 6 years later, I am 20, and still fighting complications from having cancer. Although the Cancer not being one of them, thankfully.

Favorite Sports/Teams:

Detroit Red Wings, I don’t really have any other favourites, but I hope to see the Leafs make the playoffs again in the next year or two. (I know, I’m dreaming right?)

Favorite Players:

My favourite all time player would have to be Steve Yzerman. I am lucky enough to say I have met, and spent a full period with him at a Wings game. Other players I really like are Hank (Henrik Zetterberg), Pavel Datsyuk <—His english is horrible. Also Nicklas Lidstrom, the best Defense man to ever put on a pair of skates. Favourite goalie would have to be Ozzy (Chris Osgood). Ovechkin would have to be my favourite non Red Wing.

I listen to just about anything.

Not much of a reader.

Movies:

Well, I gotta be honest here. I loved the new batman “Batman Begins” and I look very forward to the next installment, with the Dark Knight coming out this summer. I also really enjoyed the “Harold and Kumar” movies.

Other interests:

I play video games to pass the time, lol… Can’t wait for NHL09!
