I’m a 4th straight year SEASON TICKET holder and a DIE-HARD BUFFALO SABRES FAN for LIFE!! I’ve been to a LOT of games over the years and I eat, sleep, & breathe BUFFALO SABRES hockey. Since my first game at the AUD when I was just a little kid, seeing Danny Gare, Rick Martin, Jim Schoenfeld, Craig Ramsey, and the most famous Sabre player ever, GILBERT PERREAULT, skate around the ice, I was hooked on hockey!!! I’ve been to 2 Stanley Cups, 1996 Colorado Avalanche vs. Florida Panthers in Colorado & 1999 Dallas Stars vs. Buffalo Sabres here in Buffalo. I’ve also been to several Eastern and Western Conference Championship Games and the 2008 Winter Classic. My next goal is to attend All-Star weekend. I’ve been holding my breath thinking maybe Buffalo would get it someday. But, with us just getting the Winter Classic, I’m probably going to have to make a vacation out of it. Maybe next year I’ll go and get it off my life’s checklist, who knows?

I saw that you read the Stanley Cup blog. Thanks for the compliments. That’s the general feelings I have the cup, no matter who wins it in the the end. In fact, I want to win it. MYSELF, but I know that I cannot. I’m just not in the position and I can accept that…but to go through something like that, to win something that means that much….Phew!

Calgary seems to be very much alive right now. They came back to win and that was great to see, I am actually happy for them. As far as the jerseys go, I got my first hockey jersey in late, 1994/5 for Xmas. I wanted it because of the run for the cup too. It’s blank though, the ‘flying skate’ logo as it is called usually. I have the white version, as you can see from the pictures. Just, if you’re going to order it, i don’t think it’s officially called vintage – I think the rink/stick logo is the only one they call vintage. Good luck on your hunt though!
