lose to learn how to win theory
A lot of people don’t buy it.In many ways it is true. You have to suffer the defeat in order to learn how to get over that hill.My personal favorite story is from baseball but I believe it still fits. The Detroit Tigers lost the penant race in 83.Manager Sparky Anderson made the defeated Tigers sit in the dugout and watch the winners celebrate.Forcing them to watch what they missed out on, what they cost themselves.Next season the Tigers won the World Series. It is just an unfortunate truth sometimes you have to lose first.Congrats to the Pens on a wonderful season.Good luck in the future.

Much respect
Going into the series I actually figured Pittsburgh to be a standard east team with no real two way talent up front. I saw a 4 or 5 game series. After the first two games, no way Pittsburgh was coming back. They did though, with hard work and a lot of luck, the Pens turned this series into a good viewing. I saw the Flyers and Caps get swept a decade ago. I watch the best team ever assembled beat up Carolina 6 years ago. This Penguins team is the best Eastern team since the Devils. The young guns of the Pens put so much effort into defense, they didnt have much left on O. Congrats Pittsburgh, hope to see ya next year for the repeat.
