I had a thought. I know you are always looking to expand your hockey horizons, did you ever think about following or paying attention to a college team?
How about the Mercyhurst Lakers?
I heard the teams are gonna be great this year- and the ’hurst plays Division I hockey.

As far as the profile ratings...
for me it’s a “whatever”. Sometimes it bothers me when I log on and someone randomly pucked me overnight. Other than that I usually just ignore it. The people whose opinions matter are the ones that would tell me if they didn’t like something.

which is why it’s weird. Eventually I would like this lineup:
Gagne – Richards – Giroux
vanRiemsdyk – Briere – Lupul
Upshall – Carter – Hartnell
Maroon – Downie – Nodl
Still missing though would be Kempe who right now is behind all of them on the 2011 projected depth chart. All of those forwards are signed long term though as of right now. The problem is this year you need to find space for guys like Knuble and Metropolit, all the while keeping Giroux above the fourth line, even off the 3rd line if possible. If Downie plays better are you going to keep Giroux a line ahead of him? Top 3 lines basically get the same time, but the fourth line’s time suffers drastically.

Totally worth it ...
… totally worth staying up until 3:00 am to see the Leafs v Sabres game.
Whilst the Leafs won this one 7-4, I suspect that the Sabres will tune it up when the season starts and it’ll be the other way around come Chistmastime.
