Ryan Miller just signed an extension that’ll have him here in Buffalo for five more years.
This goes out to all the haters who kept telling me he was going to sign in Detroit.
Because I’m really relieved he isn’t.
I call Ryan Miller our franchise. And Darcy didn’t do us wrong, I hope all you Sabres fans out there give him some major credit for this.
I assure you, these are happy tears.

Ryan Miller rules.
When I watched him in the Cold War game as a Michigan State Spartan, I said that he would make it in the NHL as the league’s top goaltender. So far, it’s slowly coming true.

to do things correctly this offseason? He didn’t send away any of your guys and made resignings?
I’m starting to wonder what changed him.
Congrats though it’s very good news that Miller is secured up and not going to Detroit. He probably wouldn’t have anyway. I think they’re happy over there with Conklin backing up Osgood.

I have to say I’m shocked about this deal!! I figured we would have him 1 or 2 more years but 5!!! I’m very very happy about this news.
