BYE BYE HOLLWEG!!!
Monday July 14, 2008 @ 09:12 PM EDT
Dear fellow Ranger fans, I am proud to announce that Ryan Hollweg has been traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs. I personally want to thank him for his futile contributions (pretending to be an enforcer) to the NY Rangers organ’eye’zation. We will always remember you for your stand out white tuxedo on Rangers Casino Night (I think you would have looked better with what Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunn (from Dumb and Dumber) were wearing in that White Owl benefit. But most of all we will remember you for your unforgettable bone-headed momentum killing boarding penalty in Game 3 of the Eastern Quarter finals against the Penguins. Good Luck in Toronto for what it’s worth.

I think of Hollweg &...
...first thing that comes to mind was a bone-headed boarding penalty when he cross checked RJ Umberger head first into the boards at the MSG. Totally killed the Ranger momentum they had at the time & led to a Flyer win.
Like you said, he’s TO’s problem now!

lol
that’s a great attitude for him… I was wondering though, did you think he let your boys in blue down in the playoffs like I heard from others during the playoffs?

Ouch
why’d you have to remind me of that penalty? Bone-headed, the only way to describe it! Ah well, it’s no big loss.

He stunk towards late
He didn’t do his job as of late in the season, that’s why Renney didn’t put him out there. In the beginning of the season he would always rock a person and always body up. Towards the end of te season, and even the post season, he started to run people and take the most stupidest penalties ever. With Strudwick, Avery, and Holloweg gone for the Rangers, I wonder whose going to be able to be an enforcer besides Colton Orr. Makes me wonder sometimes.
