I am die-hard Philadelphia Sports fan. I love my Flyers ! I also have a son Brayden whos going to be 2 years old June 11th. He doesn’t know it now, but a Flyers parade for a Stanley Cup Victory would be an ultimate birthday present for him and for his daddy. He loves watching the Fly Guys with me. He’s my pride and joy. I am US Marine, stationed in New York…Yes it sucks here in NY, but i love to brag about my Philly teams whether bad or good. PHILLY PRIDE BABY !!!!

I really got into hockey when i was about 10, before that i didn’t know much about it. My dad was strictly Eagles, and Phillies. I can remember watching Rick Tochett, Rod Brindamour and our then Captain Kevin Deneen, also Tommy Soderstrom…And all the greats years later of course.

UGH
So I’m still down about the way the season ended and I’m sure that you are too. But I am looking forward to the Finals…of course, not as much as if our team was there, but it should be a good series.
OK, so let’s see…we have the entry draft coming up in about a month and training camp starts in oh, about 4 months or so. I’m already having Flyer withdrawal!
But you gotta love the way this team turned things around so quickly, eh?!

Now there is one….they NEED that intensity and desperation in their game EVERY shift, EVERY game from here on out. I don’t know why it took until the fourth game for Stevens to shuffle the lines around, but it seemed to be a HUGE difference as the offense came back to life after the pitiful showing in game 3.
I read in the Daily News that Timonen is hinting that he might be in the lineup Sunday, depending on how his skating and being taken off the blood thinners go, and the swelling around Coburn’s eye may be down enough that he will be in, also. Can you say NICE TIMING as to the extra day off between games 4 & 5?!

Game 4 Thursday
OK, so tonight is game 4 of the Flyers-Pens series…hopefully the Flyers watched the Stars-Red Wings game last night and learn how a team with it’s back against the wall plays! Total desperation, leave it ALL on the ice, and the rest will take care of itself. One shift, one game at a time!
The miracle starts tonight! LET’S GO FLYERS!!!
