Congrats!
Wow, what a team they are…they definitely earned everything that they won this year, and congrats to Nicklas for being the first Euro Captain of a Cup-winner! He’s a true class act and totally learned how to win and how to carry himself from Stevie Y. It shows.
Even though a lot of their players are “older” by NHL standards, they’re going to be a fantastic organization because they always draft character players and teach them what they need to know to get the job done.
OK, enough rambling….CONGRATS, & enjoy!

Looking for a Wings-Pens final
This series will be fun to watch. We’re both friends with Modano and Morrow, so we want to see them do well, but they both know we’re rooting for the Wings. Modano is actually a Michigan native and Morrow is such an exciting player to watch. Every shift against San Jose he was knocking people over. There’s a reason he’s the captain – he has so much heart and he never stops. It seems like every goal in the playoffs, he’s been a part of, whether it’s scoring or making something happen....more

WINGS!
SO I read your whole life story of how and why you are a die hard Red Wings Fan! Unlike you I am not at all from Detroit nor I have I ever been west of Penn BUT I am also a die hard Red Wings fan and that is basically because I appreciate the sport of hockey and NO team unlike the Wings possess pure skill and finesse everytime they step onto the ice! I also can relate to your Um hatred if you want to call it that of the AVS we were a billit family to a bunch of hockey players from colorado who ALL LOOOOOVED to rag on my loove for the Wings and knowing my competitive spirit well i developed a love/hate relationship with those boys and NOW my current boss who is ALSO a die hard Avs fan. I just can’t get away from them and I can understand where u and your bro have to draw the line. BUT don’t worry this is our year NOT theres to move further and create more of a stanley cup buzz than those annoying avs. SO hears to shoving our successful president’s cup winning wings into the mile-high loser Avs faces haha

On our way
That series was intense. It was great to see it at the Sommet Center. Nashville put up a great fight. And Ozzy was phenomenal. Hopefully, we’ll see the Cup back in Detroit.

old and in the way
In the playoffs, passion and persistence often overcome skill and payroll; youthful exuberance beats out jaded experience. Oh by the way, did chelios and hasek forget to take their metamucil or did they run out of Ensure?
