I think RJ is going to have a breakout year since I see him being on the 1st line between Nash and maybe Voracek. The Jackets are lacking natural right wingers so we may have some slim pickings there. On defense, the Jackets have almost always been strong and I think that continues this season with the addition of Commodore and Tyutin. As with every season I think the Jackets will play strong, physical, hard working hockey but we still have a lot of young players and (until they show me otherwise) a subpar offense. I really want to belive they have what it takes to crack the top eight this year but I’m not holding my breath.
So I looked over the list of UFA centers and found a couple interesting options. The first is getting Fedorov back. He may be past his prime or maybe he just had a bad year (or two.) The second was Peter Forsberg. He only played a part of the season, is old, and has foot (not foote) problems but he did ok for the little time he played. Robert Holik could be a good fit for the Jackets (including the Jackets strange obsession with older players.) My personal favorite is Vaclav Prospal. Not only would it rob the flyers of a skilled player and send him to one of my teams but the man can put the puck in the net. Then you also have Randy Robitaille, Jeremy Roenick, Joe Sakic, Martin Straka, and Mats Sundin available despite being pretty close to retirement but then again I cite the Jackets prerequisite of bringing in old players.
It wouldn’t matter to me..I’d be rooting for both. I have been rooting for each team all year, I can’t back down now . I’d have my reasons for wanting the Wings to win and I’d have my reasons for wanting the Pens to win!
You know, I was thinking the other day that as much of a long shot as it is I really wouldn’t mind seeing the Jackets pick up Jagr in free agency. Even though he plays right wing I think he is also comfortable playing center and we need a good center to go with Nash and Zherdev. I’m not sure what top line centers are going to be available but I think Jagr has a few more good years ahead of him and I’d love to see him in proper red, white, and blue.
what else can u say but nitemare . the boys completely fell apart in the 3rd it doesn’t seem they like me 2 much cuz they’re ALWAYS breaking my heart i know they don’t want 2 lose but it also seems they don’t want 2 win either . ok that’s enough of that , time 2 regroup and leave the past in the past . game 3 is now a MUST win !!! we’ve always played well in dallas and i’m confident them teal boys will get their act together and tie up the series on the road . after all we r a great road team and we did have an amazing win streak towards the end of reg season . so it can and WILL be done … trust in the teal and don’t worry we’ll throw shelley at em and the rest of the sharks 2

lol thats alright. As long as one of my teams makes the SCF I will be very happy…mind you if both of them made it, I would be downright thrilled!
