Description:
I am a hs student in Colorado. I grew up in a huge sports family. Every one else in my family loves football, but i have always loved hockey ever since i can remember. I have many memories of watching avs games with my bro in the basement. We would b so loud and obnoxious and during commercials and intermissions we would always fool around and play hockey which our mom never approved of and was always so thrilled when she found out. I think my bro influenced me the most in my life cause he played soccer and got me hooked on that sport and about 5 or 6 years ago he took me to a Mammoth game and got me hooked on lacrosse. I have watched close to every avs game and been a fan even when they struggled. Although i have watched the Avs the most, i also like the penguins because of the exciting players they have. I first became a fan of the pens when i saw mario lemieux play. Thats pretty much it, i cant really think of nething else to say so keep it real and i would love to talk hockey with anybody else who is looking to do so.

Well
golf isn’t really one of my summer plans (unless you count putt-putt) – but I’ll definitely be playing and watching tennis. I’m looking forward to the olympics – especially the USA women’s gymnastics team (those girls are amazing!) and trials for those are this weekend. I’m also doing off-season training because I’m hoping to join a real live ice hockey league this fall and finally doing on ice what I’ve been going for fun in pick-up street games off and on throughout my life . . .

I'm glad you like
the idea. At first I was just shocked and a little disappointed that they didn’t interview any other candidates . . . but the long the idea simmers the more I’m warming to it. I like Granato as a person, but I only saw him coach half a season (I didn’t get to see any of the 03-04 games because I was away at school in a hockey black home) . . . but I’m hopeful and I’ll withhold final judgement until the 2009 Cup champion is crowned. So here’s to Tony G not messing it up!
