Description:
I’ve been a hockey fan since my dad took me to see the Marquette Iron Rangers play in the Palestra when I was 4. I rooted for the Wings when they couldn’t win a game for two decades and was cautiously hopeful when they got a skinny kid with long hair named Yzerman and I think you can’t really love a team until you watch them lose for several seasons at least. I have lived in Louisiana for over 25 years and make hockey pilgrimages every year to watch it live again. I love midget, high school and college hockey, and without a doubt the best hockey being played in international competition and the olympics is womens. I think original six teams should play each other much more often. I think expansion did not hurt hockey at all and I love the new rules. These opinions make me the object of scorn and even some anger from old friends but that’s what I think and I’m sticking to it. And my wife Linda is a much bigger fan than I am!

No thank you
I’ve seen you around here before…I know what your about….Sorry I’m just paraphrasing lines from movies today. It’s true that it’s getting closer everyday. I will be a happy woman again when it does.

Thanx for such high praise, Mike! Yeah, watching the Great One in action was a thing of beauty, no doubt.

Sounds like you’ve spent some time in Austin—taken a dip in Barton Springs, maybe?
