I fell in love with the sport of hockey during my childhood in Colorado (Detroit may be “Hockey Town”, and Minnesota might be the “State of Hockey” – but Denver is the capitol of the “Hockey Mountain Region”). The Avs have been my favorite NHL team since the beginning of my fandom. . . I am a student, daughter, sister, friend, knitter, baker, outdoorsman, budding hockey player, freelance writer, amateur photographer, graphic designer, bibliophile, and above all a rabid HOCKEY FAN!

Well, it seems the time has finally come…tomorrow night the Avs can kick off the season with a whooping of the Bruins
Since you are out in the Denver area, I have a couple of questions if you don’t mind. Svatos, is he healthy and ready to go? How about Clark, is he 100%? I really missed Clark down the stretch last year. I cannot wait to see tomorrow nights game…I see Jones is a go for opening night, that is awesome, I loved what I saw from him last year.
