Though I have almost everything needed to play hockey...
...I need pucks and a pair of hockey skates that fit me but aren’t adjustable. I have two skaters’ sticks, but one I made myself out of just pine wood and it broke when I dropped it on a carpeted floor. I had to use masking tape to put it back together. And don’t get me started on my goalie stick! It sat in my grandparents garage from 1983 ‘til this March, and it’s wood so it’s kinda dry-rotted. If I’m gonna take my hockey equipment to the Winter Retreat that my church camp has every winter, then I’m gonna need a lot of new equpiment, or I’m gonna need to borrow my friend Andy’s.

I was thinking about a group like this, but redwinger96 beat me to the punch! Anyways, I prefer NikeBauer and easton gear. What does everybody else use?

Composite sticks
I finally broke down and bought a composite stick after years of playing with wood then a wood blade with a composite shaft. I must say, I now understand all the hype about one-piece sticks. Lighter weight, yes, but a FAR more consistent feel.
Anyone know where you can still buy the REAL Jofa pads? I’m not a fan of the new Rbk stuff.
