San Jose added another top defenseman to their backline Friday, acquiring Dan Boyle and Brad Lukowich from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for Matt Carle, Ty Wishart and a pair of draft picks. Sharks sign Blake | Rivet dealt to Sabres
Less than 24 hours after announcing the re-signings of both center Evgeni Malkin and defenseman Brooks Orpik, Pens' GM Ray Shero added Ruslan Fedotenko and Miroslav Satan to the mix, and signed Marc-Andre Fleury to a seven-year deal.
The Rangers continued their remodeling by agreeing to terms with five-time All-Star Markus Naslund on a two-year deal and defenseman Dmitri Kalinin on a one-year pact. The deals spelt the end of Jaromir Jagr's tenure with the Rangers.

Belfour---Why Not??
if we were talking about Eddie the Eagle for a starting goalie then I would say that it would not be a good fit. however Mr balfour would have to be willing to ride the pine and step in when needed. I do not think that would be such a bad idea.

The Sabres Fan Nation Takes It On The Road!
The Sabres Fan Nation Takes It On The Road! 1-21-2007 14:27:23 Now is the time to TAKE IT ON THE ROAD. Sick of other team fans cheering in our arena. Sabres fans are taking the game on the road starting in Columbus, Friday 2/2/07. I’m personally sick of seeing less than full arenas around the league, and there not always empty because the home team isn’t playing well, take New Jersey. Thats why independent movements are taking place NOW to show our team that we are the best traveling fans in the league. Please use this site as a forum for anouncing road trips with groups of Sabres fans who want to show the league how we do it here in Buffalo. Spread the word on joining the Sabres group site on NHL.com, NHL connect will have to buy more servers because Sabres Fans are The BEST FANS IN THE LEAGUE !! GO SABRES!

WOW THESE GUYS ARE SCARY GOOD!!!
Well last night the Buffalo Sabres, tied a league mark for most consecutive games from the start of the season. The 2006-2007 version of the Blue &Gold have shown Hockey Fans around the NHL as well as the rest of the hockey world how working together and working for each other can put alot of W’s in the win coloum very quickly. It is ironic that the win to tie the league record came at the expense of former Sabres Head coach Ted Nolan. While I am pretty sure that Sabres will not remain undefeated for too much longer I am sure that Ted Nolan would have loved to have beat the Sabres for the teams first loss of the season. The Islanders and Sabres could very well become a big rivalry in the NHL as long as Ted Nolan and Lindy Ruff remain Coaches of their repective teams.
I can not think of a better place than HSBC Arena on a Saturday night with one of the best teams in the Eastern Conferece. It will be good to see some of the leagues Top point getters, including Maxim Afinogenov, and Marian Hossa battle it out on Arena Ice. In the words of Former Voice of the Buffalo Bills Van Miller It’s ime to fasten Your Seat Belts.” I can’t wait for Saturday Night.
