Rangers Very Tough

I find it very difficult to believe that anybody can beat Kitchener. They have the CHL’s leading scorer in Justin Avezado and two stellar goltenders in Mason and Unice. They have the home ice advantage and they are just scary good.I did notice that they lost their first gam of the playoffs the other night to The Soo(which I have to admit-I didn’t think that they were ever going to do)I also see that Belleville is 2-0 against Oshawa with game 3 tonight in Belleville. Both OHL teams are looking strong right now and will be great representatives for the “O”

    Rangers-Bulls final

Kitchener is now up 2-0 in the OHL final, and are a team that overwhelms its opponents. They’re able to roll four lines (much like last year’s Whalers), and despite Mason’s injury they’ve got more-than-capable netminding in Josh Unice. Kinda figured Belleville would be there representing the East in the OHL final, I’d expect them to come out fighting Sunday’s Game 3. Just wish Plymouth and the Soo would’ve fared a little better vs. Kitchener in these playoffs.

    Mason Out

Just got info that Steve Mason is out for the rest of the OHL playoffs and quite possibly the Mem. Cup due to a knee injury. He is due to have arthroscopic surgery to repair a tear in his knee and Columbus doesn’t want to take any chances with his long term recovery. Huge blow to Kitchener!!!!
