Amen on #13
We don’t need more scoring. I think people are forgetting we were the best offense out there last year. We need more toughness and defensive help to protect Carey Price. We got one piece of toughness with Laraque and Tanguay should replace anything Streit or Ryder brought to the table on the PP.
Another pointman on the PP on defense and a guy who could shut down people defensively is all they should be doing to protect the investment they made in Price when they dealt Huet away. We paid the price for that in the playoffs (no pun intended) so they better address it.

Hi there dudes
I’m back from my summer and I can’t wait to come on nhl connect (instead of doing homeworks) to talk about hockey!!!......and Trishabs: You’re just too lucky!!!
As for Sundin Yes he’s a good player and bla bla bla, but I say let’S move on! I don’t want to wait for him as he’s making a Scott niedermayer out of himself! Beside, he’s leaf!

Sundin to Rangers
That is what is swirling around in the rumor mill….dumb move on all parts. Sundin is going to a tough media city in a place that has a history of losing…good call. They are going to dump Rosival to clear cap space. I wouldn’t say getting rid of one of your best defenseman is a great idea when they have the Harry Houdini of defenseman, Redden, running the blue line now.
He would be the last piece of a perfect offensive puzzle for the Habs…well now maybe they can come to their senses and bring in another stud D man…maybe Rosival will be a good fit hahaha

Habsroyalty...
I don’t understand why you think we need another big scorer. Montreal led all 30 teams in goals for last year but were tied for 12th (with the Bruins no less) for goals against. You want to give Komisarek in return for Lecavalier? The guy who led the Habs in hits (266) and blocked shots (225)? No doubt Vinny is a proven goal scorer, but he was minus-17 last year and is a minus-80 for his NHL career. I’m sorry, but that makes no sense to me. If we are going to get someone up front, he needs to be able to help keep the puck out of our net as well as put it in their net.

Another Delay
Now there are 6 teams in the Sundin chase and he says he needs more time. When does this guy think teams need to make decisions by? He makes 7+ million for god’s sake. Either S or get off the pot. Teams can spend that money somewhere else at this point. I think Sundin and Favre should just have a big pity party for themselves and save everyone the aggrevation of both their little dramas.
