The "B" word...
A friend of mine asked me about the “B” word the other day. She thought it sounded like a cute name for us female fans. I had to explain to her why it was actually an insult. Heh. Poor thing. She gets enough of my hockey rantings and now I go and yell at her. Heh!

I need some help...
I’m writing an article about how hockey approaches female fans. I’m overseas and can’t go to the arenas/teams and find out firsthand so I need your help.
Could you all please let me know what promotions within the NHL are geared toward women? It can be anything that you think they do to get you to go to games or be aware of the sport.
Thanks so much,
Tammy

GO HABS!!
Die hard Canadiens fan here. Although I live too far away to go to their home games Calgary is a good concelation. Their home games rock. For the rest of the playoffs I’ll root for anyone who can embarass Pittsburgh and Colorado.

Welcome
Hey all! I’m welcoming myself to your group….Ladies Who Love Hockey….That’s Me!!!!! I’ve been watching and following hockey for as long as I can remember. My favorite team is the Montreal Canadiens. I’m really hoping they do well on Monday; after tonight’s heartbreaker. But, I watch all of the gams that I can catch. I want Washington to win. I really like Cristobal Huet. I liked both the Avs and the Wild. Had a hard time deciding who I wanted to win there. I feel bad for N.Y. Marty Brodeur is such a good goalie. Congrats to Pittsburgh. Fleury has been doing well in nets for them. As you can tell, my favorite position is goalie. It always has been. When I was a litle kid, my “hero” was Gump Worsley. He was a goalie for the Montreal Canadiens. Anyways, I’ll write more after Monday when the Canadiens beat the Bruins…......HOPEFULLY!!!
GO HABS GO!!!
