Out with the old......
Ed Snider announces the Spectrum will close following 08-09 AHL season. Living in south jersey I’ve gone to my fair share of Phantom games. Where they will play in 09-10 is to be determined. Hopefully it will be somewhere in the vicinity. I’m not a Flyers fan but this barn will be missed by yours truly.

what a great year in the ahl….hope next year is this exciting. being a binghamton senator fan i noticed we are playing the texas teams this year. so, watch out lone star state..lol

Chicago Wolves won the Cup this year, beat the Pens 5-2 in the final game. Jason Krog had a hat-trick and got the MVP award for the playoffs.

Y cant Cincy
Have an AHL team again?
They took our team (Cincinnati Mighty Ducks) away from us in 2006. And every Duck fan in Cincy including me were really upset.

San Jose has the NHL, Stockton has the ECHL, so why not have an AHL team here in Sacramento.
