Description:
I am a divorced mom of 4 kids…2 girls, 2 boys. I am always told that I look anywhere from 32-35, and I act 25, what more can I say? I have been a Rangers fan since I was 5 years old. I started playing ice hockey myself when I was 7. 3 out of 4 of my kids play hockey now. I went through a 2 year battlewith cancer and lost a kidney, half of my left lung, and a few other internal parts, but somehow between my children, Rangers games, and forcing myself to get out on the ice, I kept going and managed to beat the odds they gave me and am still going strong today. There is no better medicine in the world then being on the ice.
Favorite NHL Team:
New York Rangers
Favorite Sports/Teams:
I am a Rangers fan all the way.
Favorite Players:
Jaromir has to be my favorite, (ok, I have a crush on him). I love Sean Avery because he reminds me alot of ….me! I love all of them for different reasons…they have different personalities and styles.
Music:
I enjoy all types of music I sing mainly country music (used to be in a band). I can be listening to Shania Twain one minute and Def Leppard the next….
Books:
I am a James Patterson fanatic. I have read everyone of his books. I also enjoy Dean Koontz, Patricia Cornwell and Steven King.
Movies:
Anything with Will Farrell in it! I have a twisted and warped sense of humor!
Other interests:
I am also a football fan (GO GIANTS!!), and a NASCAR fan (GO JIMMIE JOHNSON!). There is never a dull moment in my house when it comes to sports! lol I shoot archery, went to the Nationals 3 times. I like it because it is silent but deadly! (haha, no let me stop!) We also like to fish and swim, camping anything outdoors really.

Hi
I hope you do feel better soon!

Glad you enjoy the Get Well card!
So how does it feel to loose Avery?

Yeah...
I know how that is. Believe me, I know what exactly you’re going through. I blew out my knee in high school, twice. One doctor suggested never to play sports again…. but did I listen? NO… lol.

Now what?
Ummm…you take skiing? Bobsledding? You’ll certainly have time to watch the Free Agency Olympics. As for what our boys have done – While I’m not thrilled about Rosival re-signing, getting Redden is HUGE. He’ll provide a physical edge we haven’t had, while being a good teacher for our youngsters. Sanguinetti (from the minors) better be ready to make the jump to the big time this year – because he’s the offensive D-man that completes the puzzle of our upgraded D. Sundin would be a good fit if we don’t have to overpay for him, and if Jagr leaves, otherwise, our forwards aren’t all that bad. Center is actually one position of strength on our team.
As for the leg, stay off it as much as possible, and I’ll be praying that it heals quickly! Drop me a note again if you get really bored and need to break the monotony somehow…I’ll do my best to be entertaining when I’m online….
