Description
University student at the University of Manitoba (Canada). 21 year old male but really just an 8 year old at heart (life is much funner when you listen to your inner child, try it some time). All I really want in life is for a Canadian team to win Lord Stanley again. Maybe this is the year it happens.
Favorite NHL Team
Toronto Maple Leafs
Favorite Sports/Teams
Leafs, Sens, Canadians, Flames, Canucks, Oilers (and WHEN they come back the Jets). Hate to see the cup go to a city that shouldn’t even have an NHL franchise.
Favorite Players
Heatly, Spezza, Iginla, Sakic, Phaneuf, Brodeur, Luongo, S. Koivu
Music
Rock and Metal. Fovourite band would be the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Others would be: Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Disturbed, Led Zeplin just to name a few.
Books
………..I suppose any textbook that I am required to read for University.
Movies
Pirates of the Caribbean series, as well as the Spiderman series. Also the original Transformers movie (Cartoon version, the one where HotRod becomes Rodimus Prime, Optimus Prime dies, Starcream dies, Megatron becomes Galvatron, and Unicron is in it He eats planets), and Office Space
Other interests
Studying for University (seriously), sockin’ dingers, backyard hockey games, making snowmen in May and using dandelions as eyes (only in Winnipeg), or making them drink Brisk Iced Tea. Also growing pineapple plants (so far unsuccessful). Drinking coffee is starting to become a hobby of mine as well.

Sounds a lot like....
Norhtern Michigan, truth be told. Brutal winters (parts of the Upper Peninsula regularly get 300+ inches of snow, though the wind chills aren’t quite as bad as the ‘Peg), hot and humid summers (esp. if you’re near any of the Great Lakes….and they’re often WAAAAY too cold for any prolonged swimming, unless becoming a eunuch is on your list of “Things To Do Before I Die”), swarms of black flies & mosquitos (the honorary state birds of Michigan)….yeah man, your description of Winnipeg (and I’ll presume Manitoba in general) sounds quite familiar. And West Nile Virus hit here a few years back. Some of our moose and deer even have TB.

Is it wrong?
for me to say I’d trade you climates….we’ve got 80+ degrees (F) with high humidity and tons of tourists and road construction (the joy that is Northern Michigan in summer). I’d take snow in a heartbeat right now.
