Description:
I’m 5’6” (same height as Theo Fleury and about half a year older than him), and have been an NHL fan my whole life. I’ve been a die-hard Calgary Flames fan since they moved there in 1980 (I was of the age then to actually follow one team seriously). 1989 still feels like yesterday, and 2004 was quite a ride, too. I think Iginla may become as big a legend in Calgary as Lanny was. Awesome talent, and an even better human being.
Favorite NHL Team:
Calgary Flames
Favorite Sports/Teams:
Calgary Flames, BC Lions, Ottawa Senators, Vancouver Canucks (maybe), Toronto Blue Jays & Raptors
Favorite Players:
Jarome Iginla, Mikka Kipprusoff, Dion Phaneuf, Sidney Crosby, Lanny McDonald, Theo Fleury, Alex Ovechkin
Music:
Rock (mostly 80s), Foo Fighters, Def Leppard, DC Talk, Skillet, Newsboys, the ODD slow tune (e.g., Dust In The Wind)
Books:
Yikes … Hardy Boys, Frank Peretti & Ted Dekker books
Movies:
Spider-Man, Superman Returns, Star Wars, Titanic (kinda’), Remember The Titans, Batman, Die Hard
Other interests:
Floor hockey; running; weight training; biking; rollerblading; romantic walks in the park … with my wife, of course.

yahhh
we will get there.
My dad said, if the sharks would have played like they did at the end of the regular season they probably would have won the cup which is true. the sharks went 20 games without a regulation loss, know I was very happy about that. It made me feel like we could win it but they let me & other sharks fan’s done again, they need to win, I don’t want to wait anymore.

yahh
well like I said, I love the Sharks but all’s I want them to do is win & your right, they do have the team to win. they just need to play as a team.
Other then that they easily could have beaten the stars in the wcsf but they chose to play stupid hockey instead of smart hockey. anyways I really hope we can get the first seed in the west this year, know only if the sharks can get past the red wings hmmm tough call. I’d party if it actually happened, but I do actually believe it could happen. If the actually would have won all there shootout games in regulation they would have got the 1st seed, had 3 more points then the red wings & they would have got the presidents trophy. one of these years the sharks will win it all, the first seed, the president’s trophy, the pacific division, the western conference, & the stanley cup. I really think 2009 could be the year. I guess we will just have to wait & see.

Oh...
of course the young guns, up and comers will be interesting to see with Chicago. This whole season is up in the air!
As for the game, hmm, Toronto, Habs, and of course, Linden’s jersey raising!

Yeah...
I guess thats one of my many gifts…weeding out the lame people from the cool people! Woot woot!!
That’s cool that your dad is “bragging” now. My dad does that, too. I tend to think that he is more supportive of my brother, yet he is the hardest on him. That’s always going to be the same, though. My dad tends to brag about my grades, and if I make a new recipe, or if I’m more mature than my older sister, and all that. He’s proud because I’m so self driven and all that, and I’m a lot like him in that sense, but he never really tells me. But when he does, I know it means a lot to me.
So how is everything now?? At home I guess.
