Description:

I was always the odd one out within my friends group. While all of them laced up the skates and picked up a stick, I turned to them with my blocker and glove ready and my pads down on the ice. I grew up a goalie and was usually watching the Canadiens games, until one day in school our teacher wanted us to put up posters of our favourite hockey team. Twenty-Four(ironically) were working on the Habs Poster and across the class, Thirteen(I’m not kidding) were working on the Leafs. I was in the middle, deciding who to pick. I noticed in the other class was a poster of the Senators, and I got myself thinking, If I was different all these years, why change now? So I was cheered on to either join the Habs team(making it 25) or the Leafs Team(14) I decided to work on a team I thought would win it, The Flames. I remember those days, with the Habs and Leafs both falling, and the Flames being up there. Until the faithful Game 7, I remember sitting in my living room cheering for the Flames(Gelinas’ goal was good, ye silly refs >_>) and I’ve never stopped since. I have many good things to say about every team, and I don`t usually have a hate for any of them.
