PROUD CARD-CARRYING MEMBER OF FLYER NATION……..LET’S GO FLYERS IN THE ‘08-’09 SEASON!!! Oh yeah….and I REALLY DO BLEED ORANGE & BLACK!!! LET’S GO FLYERS!!! LET’S GO FLYERS!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am as HARDCORE a hockey fan as you will EVER find. I have what you would call an “undeniable & unquenchable passion for hockey”…an absolute hockey fanatic, not a bashing-type of fan, just LOVE good hockey and talking hockey with other fans, no matter what their favorite team is. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I was raised in a family where baseball, football & basketball were the only sports that we followed, until my dad got transferred to the Buffalo, NY area (actually West Seneca). It was there that my friends got me into hockey, and the other sports fell into a much lesser role in my life (even though I did try out for a professional baseball team). And so began my love affair with hockey! Also through my father’s transfers I have lived a couple of places in Jersey & Sterling Heights, Michigan. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 6’1" 205 lb. power forward by trade, have taken many a beating in front of the net, which explains my looks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ IN PHILLY, WE’VE HEARD THE TERM “THE NEXT BOBBY CLARKE” TO DESCRIBE MIKE RICHARDS SO OFTEN BY FLYER MANAGEMENT, BUT DON’T THEY REALIZE THEY ALREADY HAD “THE NEXT BOBBY CLARKE” (ROD BRIND’ AMOUR) IN THEIR LINEUP FOR YEARS & TRADED HIM AWAY? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I guess I could have just put “EAT, SLEEP, DRINK HOCKEY…PERIOD!” in this section! hahaha

Of course the Flyers, and also the Sharks, Sabres and Flames. In baseball, it’s the Fightin’ Phils. In football, it’s da Raidahs #1, Eagles #2! NBA = N/A! I LOVE tennis also….& James Blake is the man!

Hockey movies: “Mystery, Alaska”, “Slapshot”, “Miracle”, “Happy Gilmore” (hey, Happy wanted to be a hockey player!), I even liked “Youngblood”! haha I love psychological thrillers: “Se7en”, “Primal Fear”, “Lucky Number S7even”, “1408”. Also love “Grosse Point Blanke”, “Point Break”, “Con Air”, “The Rock”, “12 Monkeys”……..anything with John Cusack, Bruce Willis, Tim Robbins, Ed Norton Jr., Robert DeNiro, John Malkovich, Samuel L. Jackson, Nicholas Cage, Keanu Reeves, Jack Nicholson & of course, Keira Kneightly.

Other interests

I’m a HUGE fan of “The Office”, “The Soup”, & “Seinfeld”. Also like “The First 48”, “Forensic Files” & “Cold Case”. And I LOVED “The Tournament”!
