I’m from Winnipeg, MB. Grew up watching the Jets of course, but when they were sold, I followed Tie Domi to Toronto. Been a Leafs fan ever since. It’s hard cheering for the nations most hated hockey club, especially living in the praries, but I get by. I work for the Feds here in Canada. I spend my free time with my friends. Try to get out as much as I can in the summer, and even a little in the winter. Secretly, I’m a pretty big nerd, but I keep it secret. That is until you read the shirt I’m wearing, then it’s pretty obvious I guess.

GO JETS GO!!! Leafs, Ducks, Penguins, Whalers (my cousin played for them back in the day), Avs. Sharks since they got Joe. Some others I don’t mind like Boston and New York.

Favorite Players

Teemu Selanne tops the list. I also like Sidney Crosby, Luongo, Alex Steen, Mats Sundin, all the Staals, Comrie, Scott Nediermeyer, I guess Rob as well, Randy Carlyle (back when he was playing was great. Mass of hockey hair flowing with no helmet.), Phanuef, Iginla, Joe Thornton, Joe Sackic, most Canadian players actually. This is the most I’ve thought of it.

World War Z, Lord of the Rings, Deepness in the Sky, The Complete World Almanac by John Hodgeman (the man’s a genius, he’s the PC from Mac comercials if you didn’t know.), most of David Eddings stuff, House of Leaves, anything, and I mean anything, by Neil Gaiman.

Movies

Holy crap there’s too many to mention, but… Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Big Lebowski, Forrest Gump, Grandma’s Boy, Super Bad, Existence, No Country For Old Men, City of Lost Children, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The Protector (pure martial arts eye candy), Monty Python’s Quest for the Holy Grail, Half Baked, and on, and on, and on.

Other interests

I love hockey, football, golfing, snowboarding, movies, video games, music, CONCERTS. Oh god I love concerts. To think in the last 4 years I’ve seen Pearl Jam, David Bowie, Neil Young, John Fogerty, QotSA 3 times, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System of a Down, MegaDeth, etc. That’s just a small fraction of what I’ve seen. Adding Rush, Iron Maiden, and Tom Petty this summer.
