I am a scientist & a handiswimmer, still in the process of getting my syndrome (Marfan) recognized in the Paralympic Swimming World, so I can get my chance to go compete in London in 2012. I won the Gold for the 100 meter freestyle in 2007 in a North-American level competition. I was discovered in 2006, at age 32, for being 2nd, again at the 100 meter freestyle North-Am, but in Men ! I train to become the “Handi” version of Dara Torres, an awesome athlete. I am a HUGE hockey fan, like everyone from Quebec I guess. Adding to this is the fact that, yes-yes-yes, if you don’t know yet, Vinny Damphousse’s Mom is the Little Sister of my Grandpa (father side). Or, if you prefer, my GrandPa Lessard is his Uncle:).
